I’ve been to many places to practice yoga in the GTA and what struck me the most about Six Degrees was the welcoming atmosphere – whether you’re a newbie or a regular at the studio they make you feel at ease and are truly focused on teaching you to get the most out of your practice.
Mindful yoga
I attended a Mindful yoga course to help relieve stress and anxiety. The course was once a week for four weeks. The course fee was on a pre-paid sliding scale.
The class was held in a space overlooking Spadina and the studio is surrounded by windows which brings in tons of light. On the windows you find sayings like the one you see in the picture…which helps to feel inspired!
The studio provides you with a mat and other Yoga equipment like blocks, bolsters and straps.
Six Degrees is located on 204 Spadina Avenue, 2nd floor.
It also offers community acupuncture, holistic health care and martial arts.
PS: Classes are kept small so you have more time with instructors.
